Lucky Tony had a course to go to today and he didn't have to leave at his usual time because we slept in this morning. We have a digital alarm clock and for some reason if it doesn't sit in the right position on the bedside cupboard it goes on and off intermittently. Hehehehe this is what happened this morning. He still got to leave at the time he wanted to though.
The course was to get his "White Card". It now replaces the green card which is for people to enter building sites. As tenants come and go he is in charge of stripping out the floor and the refit for the new tenant. He said it was mainly knowing what the OH&S rules were.
The course finished around 12.30pm and so instead of going back to work he came home. It was supposed to have finished later and he had already told them at work that he would come home after it finished. I must say it was good to have him home early.
Telstra managed to get back in touch with us today via Tony's mobile and they are sending out a technician sometime tomorrow. It appears the fault is either the line that comes into the house from the street or somewhere in the house. They say there is no need for me to be home as I have got a hair appointment later in the afternoon.
I just want my phone back!!!
From the Lens...........love the colour of this Iris. We bought this Iris from a street fair in Barmera. We used to go up there regularly especially when Dad was in the Nursing Home there.
