It is 3 months until the end of the year. Where has the past 9 months gone? Christmas is fast approaching and time to think about those gifts.
This weekend is a long weekend for us here in South Australia......Labour Day weekend. Sunday morning at 2.00am is also the start of daylight saving.......Yay!!
Katie rang this morning and as it is school holidays she wanted to come over earlier than normal. Today is the day for my nail appointment and she wanted to come with me to see how they do my nails.
She was very interested in how they did my nails and was even more excited when they offered to paint her nails for her. She told Zoe that she would like to have her nails done like Nanna, but Zoe said that she was too young.
She replied, "Well I am 9 years old now which is more than 6".
Zoe then explained to her that her fingers and nails were still developing and if she had acrylic put on them it would damage her nails. She accepted this and was more than happy to have them painted.
We went into the city and met Tony. The weather today was real spring weather, absolutely beautiful and so we went and had a coffee and then went for a walk through the city.
Afterwards we went and had dinner at the Reepham Hotel which was disappointing as the food was not as good as what we'd had previously there.
