This morning was a late start. Forgot to turn our clocks forward for daylight saving last night so when we got up it was already an hour later.
So far this weekend the weather has been absolutely glorious and so we thought we might go to Wallaroo for some fishing.
Katie has decided she wants to go home tonight and not tomorrow so most probably it will be a late drop off.
Before we hit the road for Wallaroo Tony had to go into work to pick up his phone.....he left it there on charge on last night.
Wallaroo is about an hour and a half from Adelaide on Yorke Peninsula. We got there around 3.30pm.
Plenty of people were on the wharf fishing. Katie has been fishing once before. She surprised us as to how much she enjoyed it and actually caught a fish. Beginners luck!! Sadly there were not much fish around this time, so she was very disappointed she didn't catch one.
Just as we were leaving Tony got a phone call re a problem at work, so we arranged to drop Katie off there. We stopped at Port Wakefield for some dinner and by the time we got back to Adelaide it was around 9pm.
When we came home we stayed up and watched the start of the opening ceremony of the Commonwealth Games in Delhi, India. I fell asleep in front of the TV and finally crawled into bed at 2.30 am.
Fom the Lens.............No fish, perhaps we might see one of these
