Today is a day to rejoice for all royal watchers as Prince William and Kate Middleton have become engaged. He gave his late mother's (Lady Diana) engagement ring to Kate. Apparently she is now to be known as Katherine. I hope they have a far more happier marriage than his parents.
The wedding is scheduled to take place sometime next year in Britains spring or summer. I doubt he will ever be made King in my lifetime. Then again he may never be King of Australia if the Republican movement get their way. Personally, I would love to see Australia as a Republic.
